A Fight for the Ages, Built from the Inside Out
Directed by Jenna & Tripp Watt (Watts), shot by Robert Witt, and produced by Truffle, “City of Fury – Fatal Fury Fight Night in Times Square” brought the intensity of a high-stakes boxing showdown to screens in Times Square—but what happened inside those screens was entirely built in Mexico City.
As part of a hybrid production for the upcoming release of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Truffle filmed plates on location in NYC. Everything that followed—from fight choreography to stylized set builds featuring Ryan García, Devin Haney, and Teófimo López—was executed in Mexico, where Habitant recreated the energy and scale of Times Square in a controlled environment.

The shoot moved between custom-built studio sets and urban backlot locations, all designed to mirror the lighting, textures, and atmosphere of NYC. Extras, styling, art direction, and camera work were dialed in to support the post-production blend between New York’s real plates and Mexico’s staged action.

Habitant managed all local production services, including casting, logistics, builds, and execution on set. There was no post done locally—only the precise production work needed to give life to the Times Square content that millions would later see.
