Stink and The Fridman Sisters
bring flight back to life in
Mexico City.

Behind the Emotion

When the world was just beginning to open up again, Aeroméxico and GUT Mexico City launched a powerful message: it’s time to fly again. Directed by The Fridman Sisters and produced by STINK Films, this spot needed to feel honest, intimate and uplifting—like catching your first flight after everything stood still.

Filming Flight in the Heart of CDMX

Every scene—from crowded rooftops to open fields—was filmed in Mexico City. And every visual, from a child lifting off in a theater to a woman floating above the street, required delicate choreography, emotional nuance and major technical execution. Grips, riggers, cranes and rain simulations were all part of the challenge.

Despite the complexity, Habitant’s local production team made it happen. Working through health protocols, supporting diverse talent of all ages and coordinating across multiple high-traffic locations, they helped STINK Films capture a cinematic message of hope and motion.
