José Luis Ferragut was born in Valencia but soon moved to Madrid. He currently works as a director and artist. After studying Communication Design at the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York, he began his professional career as an Art Director in Paris. He later returned to Spain and worked as a creative for over a decade in various advertising agencies before transitioning to directing.
Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards and accolades, including Best Director at the APCP and a Bronze Lion at the Cannes Advertising Festival.
Painting has also been a parallel part of his creative journey. The language in his works combines a symbolic narrative full of references to popular culture with a highly refined pictorial technique. His latest exhibition, "Linking Words," took place at the Anabel Segura Cultural Center in Madrid.
