World-Building in Motion
For Candy Crush’s Music Season, three music videos transformed the game’s iconic sounds into full-blown visual experiences. Directed by Watts and produced by Stink, each piece features a different artist—Kimbra, TOKiMONSTA and Łaszewo—and each was crafted as its own stylized universe.
With production services by Habitant in Mexico City, the challenge was translating Candy Crush’s vibrant, whimsical aesthetic into three real-world sets, each bursting with color, energy and choreography. From oversized props to surreal miniatures and clever transitions, the sets were designed and built to move.
From set builds to rehearsals to the final take—go behind the scenes of this explosive production.
Explosive color, bouncing beats and playful tension.
Kimbra’s track anchors a world built on contrast and pop.
Electronic textures meet surreal stagecraft.
A hyper-stylized landscape charged with rhythm and motion.
A fresh visual ride that bends game logic into dreamy aesthetics, with choreography that drives it all home.
Designed by Fernanda Contreras, with sets by Ernesto Flores Mendoza and art direction by Vania Miranda Jacobo Ortega, the production leaned on inventive visuals and seamless execution. DP Santiago Cantillo brought bold lighting and dynamic camera work that mirrored the high-energy choreography.
